B-grade gourmet (a gourmet on the cheap) curry and rice On my way back from the Carrot Tower, I looked for a soba stall with a stand-up counter only that I used to eat curry and rice during my student days. I walked back and forth along the street where it was before. But I could't find it, because the street view changed a lot. キャロットタワーの展望フロアーを降りた帰り道、学生時代よくカレーライスを食べた立ち食いそば屋を探した。 当時あった場所の通りを何度か行き来して探したが、見つからなかった。 町並みがあまりに変わっていたからである。  When I almost gave up, I came across to a soba stall on the ground floor of the Tower. The name is Kashiwaya. It didn't ring the bell with me, but the atmosphere was familier with me. I had nothing to lose, so I droped in at the soba stall and bought a curry and rice ticket ( 300 yen). 半ばあきらめかけた時、キャロットタワー1Fに立ち食いそば屋を発見。 名前は「かしわや」。 名前にピンとは来なかったが、雰囲気がナニゲ〜に覚えがあるような‥。 ダメもとで入って、カレーライスのチケットを買う。300円なり。  The appearance of onions cut into large piceces was very similar to one in my memory. "This is it !" The taste didn't change a little bit. Kashiwaya moved to the Carrot Tower ( from a restaurant arcade near Sangenchaya station) when the Tower was built. 大切りたまねぎが特徴とも言える外観は、記憶のそれと酷似する。 「これ、まさにこれ」 味は全然変わっていない。 "かしわや"はキャロットタワーが出来た時に、現在の場所に移転したとの事。 I was very happy that I could eat the curry and rice which taste didn't change at all. 変わらぬ味のカレーライスを食べることが出来て、本当にうれしかった。   | |
